By creating a Billfo account you agree to these terms.

Your account

  • Keep your password safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • The records you enter belong to you.

What Billfo does and doesn't do

  • Billfo helps you make bills, track stock and payments, and prepare GST summaries.
  • Billfo does not file GST returns for you. Check reports before filing, or ask your CA.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the bills and tax details you enter.
  • Invoice numbers: Billfo numbers your bills automatically, and lets you type or change a number yourself (for example when you start using Billfo part-way through a year). You are responsible for keeping your invoice numbers unique and in the running series the law requires, and for any document you issue with a number you chose.
  • Bill headings and declarations: Billfo suggests the heading (Tax Invoice, Bill of Supply and so on) and the declaration from the registration and supply type you set. These are guidance, not legal advice; check them with your CA.

Plans and payment

New businesses get a 14-day trial of every feature, with no card needed. After the trial, the Free plan costs nothing and includes up to 30 bills in any 60 days. Starter adds unlimited bills; Books, GST reports, e-invoice and e-way bill files and other paid features need Business or Premium. Paid plans are billed yearly through our payment partner and renew until you cancel. Each plan includes a monthly allowance of GSTIN searches. Direct e-way bill and e-invoice generation, with its own allowance, will be added when it becomes available. See the refund policy for details.

Fair use

Don't use Billfo for anything illegal, or try to break or overload the service.

Availability

We work to keep Billfo running and your data backed up, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable. Keep your own copies of important records.

Changes

If these terms change, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
